It takes a pair of truly gifted hands to transform epitomes of male macho into entycing beauties and vulnerable beauties into aged men. N G Roshan is the owner of such a pair of hands. His talent is best testified by the transformation that he brought to Mammootty in Maamangam, Dileep in Mayamohini and Swetha Menon in Jewel Enna Nawal. He is the most sought VFX Make Up Professional in South India, as a character formation reaches completion with his handcraft like that of Dileep's portrayal of Sound Thoma, a man with cleft lip, in movie with the same name.

Over last decades Roshan has rendered his midas touch in over 100 movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. He has been a part of internationally acclaimed films like Vishwaroopam, Drishyam, Kashmora, Garbashreeman, Kammattipadam and Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan. His craft brought totality to the performance of iconic actors Kamal Hassan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Vinayakan, Nayanthara and Dileep.

Roshan's talent has been recognised and applauded on several occassions. In the year 2012 Dileep's Mayamohini avtar won Roshan first Kerala State award. Shwetha Menon transformation into a bearded middle aged man won him Kerala state award for the second time in 2016. In the year 2018 his skills for the film Kashmora fetched him Ananta Vikatan Award. British Council took recognition of his talent in the year 2002 by conferring him Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship.

Roshan is a product of esteemed institution National School of Drama, Thrissur. He completed BFT in acting from NSD, Thrissur. He also holds a Diploma in Film Make-up & Special Fx(Grease Paint)from London
